The hotel is located in the heart of the beautiful Windermere village and only a 5 minute drive away from Bowness Bay and Lake Windermere. Windermere station is also only a 2 minute walk away and the main route directly through the Lake District is just at the top of the road. Our fish is delivered daily from the local port of Fleetwood all of our meat is locally sourced within Cumbria. The bar offers a range of guest ales as well as featuring an extensive wine list. The Lamplighter also hosts regular folk, jazz and blues nights. The traditional Victorian building also features a large car park, providing free private parking for guests and extensive outside seating for those beautiful sunny days. Orrest Head is 10 minutes’ walk away and is arguably one of the finest view points in the county.
