A 5-minute walk from Lake Windermere, the environmentally conscious Holly Cottages Guest House has recycling, chemical free cleaning and organic, local produce at the top of the agenda. Each individually styled room at the welcoming Holly Cottages has Hubble Bubble Organics handmade soap, a TV and tea/coffee facilities. Most of the en suite rooms have garden views. In the centre of Bowness, the family-run Holly Cottages was built in the 17th century and is in the conservation area. Lake District pubs and restaurants are within a 5-minute walk. Holly Cottages guest house has a large organic garden, and local produce is used wherever possible. A continental breakfast is provided which includese cereal, toast and fresh fruit.
