The guest house is centrally situated within a 2 minutes walk of Bowness bay with its promenade and many pleasure boats. We offer extremely clean and comfortable accommodation, some rooms have fine lake views, sun terrace, private parking. To reach the car park, coming from Bowness, drive past Field House and go into the Belsfield Hotel Car Park. Take the 2nd turn on the right and this leads to our private car park. As a guest at Field House you have free use of Parklands leisure club, swimming, jacuzzi, steam sauna, gym, snooker, bar etc. Leave the M6 at jct 36. Follow A590/A591 to Windermere. From A591 at Windermere follow signs for Bowness and the lake. At the roundabout in centre of Bowness, go straight across towards the lake. Then take the first turn left opposite St Martin's Church. This is Kendal Road, Field House is approximately 50 yds along on the right at the road's narrowest point. By train to Windermere station then bus or taxi to Field House (approximately 1.5 miles).
