Formerly a coach house built in 1890, The Coach House is situated in the heart of the Lake District and 2 minutes’ drive from Windermere town centre and the shores of Lake Windermere. An en suite shower room is included in each room at The Coach House, as well as a TV and tea/coffee making facilities. Some feature cast-iron beds and antique furniture. A full English breakfast is served in the breakfast room/conservatory and includes local pork sausage. A continental breakfast of hot croissants and pain au chocolat are also on offer. The property can also offer packed lunches by arrangement. A local train service runs from Oxenholme station to Windermere and the property are 10-15 minutes’ walk from the station. Many activities are available with the Lake District National Park, such as riverside strolls, cycling through forests or hiring a boat or kayak.
