Ferndale Lodge, a family-run guest house, is placed only a few minutes’ stroll from the centre of the charming Lake District town of Ambleside. With free parking, it also offers home-cooked breakfasts. Light, airy rooms each include tea and coffee making facilities, as well as a TV and shower room. Some rooms also enjoy splendid views over Ambleside, and guests have free Wi-Fi access in public areas of the property. A choice of continental or full English breakfasts are available at Ferndale. Windermere town is 5 miles away, accessible by buses that stop 2 minutes walk from the Lodge.
