Set in 360 acres of mature woodland and rolling pastures, Brathay Hall is the residential training centre of Brathay Trust. It provides dorm-style accommodation at the head of Lake Windermere. Brathay Hall consists of 3 buildings including Old Brathay, Eagle Crag and Lingmoor. The Old Brathay site is located next to the River Brathay and the road to Hawkshead. Adjacent to the bedrooms are 3 meeting rooms, a kitchenette with hot drinks facilities, shared bathrooms and a drying room. Eagle Crag is located in secluded woodlands on the Brathay Hall Estate. The building has a central meeting room and a small kitchenette with hot drinks facilities, fridge and toaster. The Lingmoor site is set in a converted barn near the River Brathay. It has a small kitchenette with hot drinks facilities, shared showers, toilets and a drying room. There is also a large meeting room on the 2nd floor.
