The Cliff Lawn is a small family run Hotel providing superior accommodation in Leeds combined with a friendly personalised service.
Originally the Victorian home of a local mill owner it is in the final throws of a full refurbishment and now providing quality guest accommodation. Our 21 bedrooms comprise Family, Premier Double, Double, Twin and Single rooms, All bedrooms have their own bathroom, flat screen digital tv with freeview, tea & coffee making facilities.
The bedrooms are over 3 floors (ground, first & second floor), unfortunately there is no lift. On the ground floor we have a lounge with TV that also doubles up as a small conference room and breakfast room when needed. Because of the poor uptake on dining we regret we no longer provide lunch or evening meals, but if you wish to eat at the Hotel there are several local takeaways that you can use and bring the food in. We still provide a drinks service in the lounge or they can be taken to your room.
Breakfast in served on the ground floor in the Breakfast Room, although in Summer, when we get good weather (!) it is possible for one party up to 5 persons to eat outside in the garden! The breakfast is cooked to order and so is always fresh & hot using local produce.
Although less than 1 ½ miles from the City Centre we enjoy very quiet surroundings, being set completely in our own grounds.
As well as our proximity to the Leeds Central Business District and University we make an ideal base for visits to York, Harrogate, the Yorkshire Dales, Moors and Bronte country. If arriving by car we have our own car park.
