We cater for everyone from the very young to the elderly and offer friendly family-run service. Our bedrooms are all tastefully decorated and offer complimentary tea and coffee making facilities and a daily cleaning service. Kirkwood Guest House, Cambridge, has been awarded three stars by Visit Britain and enjoys a continued popularity due to its cleanliness, hospitality, location and overall quality.
We are located on Chesterton Road which is part of Cambridge ring-road making journeys by car, taxi or one of the frequent buses very easy. We are also very close to the river, alongside which a short stroll will get you to the city centre.
The bedrooms are tastefully decorated in a traditional style, but with a modern feel in pine and warm colours. All rooms are well-proportioned and equipped, all are en-suite and all have colour TV and tea/coffee making facilities. Our rooms are fully centrally heated. Two of the bedrooms are on the ground floor (enabling us to accommodate prams, pushchairs and the elderly). The rooms are cleaned daily with fresh towels and hospitality trays provided. Each room comes complete with hairdryer, soaps and shower gels, luggage holders and radio alarm clock. Free wireless Internet access is also provided in all our rooms. Some rooms are located at the rear of the property. A payphone is available in reception alongside a wide selection of maps, pamphlets and general information about Cambridge. An iron is available on request.
