This promise drives everything we do. It makes every moment of your stay a special memory. It’s in the smile that greets you and in the warmth and friendliness you’ll feel while you are here. In every corner and at every moment, you’ll notice an attention to detail that shows our passion and belief. It’s the very essence of the Forbury, like spending time with an amazing family. We stay with you.

The Forbury has been described as ‘The UK`s Sexiest Townhouse Hotel’ by The Evening Standard and the design and opulence is the talk of the fashionable set.

From the 86,000 Italian glass beads in the chandelier running the height of the building in the old lift shaft, to the opulent fabrics and wallpapers and attention to every single detail - there is simply no place in the UK as extraordinarily opulent and stunning.

In the Cerise Restaurant, diners can enjoy relaxed traditional English cooking in chic and stylish surroundings. Our a la carte menu is seasonal with our award winning kitchen team sourcing local produce for a truly memorable experience. Our terrace and bar menu is new for 2012 and offers all day dining in our cocktail bar or outside on our terrace, perfect for those ladies that lunch or a meal with friends after work. We aim to cater for all occasions and tastes whilst retaining our focus on delivering our interpretation of contemporary British dishes.

Our Cerise Cocktail Bar is rapidly building a reputation for the place to be seen outside of London; the team designs our list around classic drinks alongside some of their own creations. Our award winning wine list allows you to travel all over the world experiencing the finest wines from a range of producers.

The Forbury was designed for both business and pleasure. The latest technology and plush surroundings guarantee a hitch-free meeting your guests will remember with pleasure. All our meeting rooms are fully air conditioned with natural day light, all also offer complimentary Wi-Fi.

The Cellar provides the perfect venue for business meetings, stylish yet functional, a boardroom style table and luxury chairs that present you in the perfect position, suitable for meetings for up to twelve guests.

Any of our other public rooms can be used for meetings also. The Lounge is available for impromptu meetings while the Library is ideal for more formal events.

For larger events our Eden room is ideal, hand painted flowers cover the walls of what was the original council chambers along with the original fire place. Ensuring your meeting is memorable for all the right reasons.

For presentations, lectures or film screenings, we can offer our own private Cinema. A maximum of thirty guests can be seated in Italian leather seats ensuring their comfort and attention is focused in the right direction.

Here at the Forbury, we understand that each bride and groom’s needs are different, therefore each wedding that we plan is tailor-made to suit you. We offer a full range of menu’s for wedding breakfast’s, evening buffets and drinks packages.

Both the Library and Eden rooms are licensed for civil ceremonies and can hold up to a maximum of 50 guests.

Why not make the day extra special for you and your guests by having the entire hotel to yourselves with one of our exclusive use packages?
