We have 16 well appointed bedrooms, all with recently refurbished en-suite bathrooms. The rooms are designed to allow you to have a comfortable, relaxing stay whether here on business or for a break.
If you are looking for something a little more special, we have a four poster suite, with a whirlpool bath for those romantics among you!
Early check-in maybe available on request. If taxis are required it is advisable to book in advance to save any delay or inconvenience.
The New Inn has a cosy atmosphere, a really warm welcome and delicious food and drink. A great place to escape from the winter wind and rain and warm up next to our traditional log burning fires. Or enjoy the beautiful countryside which surrounds us on a lovely summers day.
Our menu was designed with everyone in mind. It is a blend of traditional and contemporary dishes, a balance of fresh fish, fine meats and local produce.
Hall & Woodhouse real ales, Badger, Tanglefoot and a seasonal ale available for traditional cask ale enthusiasts. The New Inn offers a comprehensive wine list with a selection of red, white and Rosé from around the world.
In addition we have a Specials Board with a seasonal selection of starters and main courses. At lunchtime, we also offer a snack menu filled with doorstep sandwiches and hot jacket potatoes. But it's not only these things that make The New Inn a great pub. It's something to do with the pub's warmth and authenticity, the friendliness of our team and finding your own nook or cranny to settle into.
The Basics
We have 16 well appointed en-suite bedrooms. All rooms are equipped with a flat screen TV with Freeeview. We have Free Wi-fi in bedrooms, Conference Room and the Bar Area. Tea Coffee making facilities in all rooms.
We have a Four poster suite, with a whirlpool bath for those wanting a little more luxury.
We have a cosy bar and pub restaurant offering lunch and dinner. Everything from a light snack to a three course meal can be enjoyed. During the winter months we have Three Real log fires burning from morning till night.
Travelling
We are situated on the B3349 between Basingstoke and Reading also in between the M4 & M3.Ideally situated for people travelling up from the coast and meeting business clients coming from many directions.
Entertainment
The First Thursday of the month we have a Jazz trio which is very popular. Last Thursday of the month we have a Quiz.
Sports and Leisure
The New Inn is very accessible to Tylney Park Golf Club.Northants, East Berks & Sherfield Oaks. The renowned Wellington Riding Stables and Country Park is 5 mins from us, and we are the nearest hotel to this attraction. All types of game shooting available when in season.
Outdoor Adventure
We are situated in the country with Wellington Estate literally up the road. There are some lovely walks and if you are a mountain bike enthusiast bring along your bikes and explore the wonderful country side.
Love Marriage
We cater for small weddings, all anniversary celebrations. The Tap Room is available for sit down meals 40 people and buffets 50-60 people.
