Set in its own private grounds, Durn House is an 18th-century property which has retained many original features, such as large open fires, an impressive stone spiral staircase and spacious rooms. Free private parking is available on site. A flat-screen TV with DVD player, bathrobes and private bathroom are provided with each Durn House room. Full cooked and continental breakfasts are served in the dining room, and dinner can also be provided. Meals are made using home-made and local traditional produce. Guests can relax by the fire in the main drawing room, or watch TV or a DVD in the private guest lounge. A game of pool can be enjoyed in the Gentleman’s Club or golf at Duff House Royal Golf Club, which is only a 15-minute drive away.
