The Riviera Hotel boasts one of the most scenic positions of any hotel on the south coast. Set on a cliff top overlooking the waters and beach at Bowleaze Cove, the chalet style hotel has magnificent views across the bay to Weymouth and Portland Harbour beyond. Our location guarantees to impress, setting the scene for a memorable and happy stay in one of Weymouth's best-known hotels. Designed in post art-deco style, our main building is Grade II listed and offers comfortable accommodation in unique style. The hotel itself is surrounded by green lawns and tranquil countryside and is only a minute away from the sand and shingle beach at Bowleaze Cove. The centre of Weymouth is only a short drive away, easily reached by car or the regular open-top bus (closed top in winter) that stops a short distance away from our own front door! CHILDREN ONLY ACCEPTED AT EASTER, WHITSUN HALF TERM AND MAIN SCHOOL SUMMER HOLIDAYS. GUIDE DOGS ARE ACCEPTED.

The Riviera Hotel is a well-known Dorset landmark that has welcomed holidaymakers to its stunning location for over 70 years. The hotel is set just above Bowleaze Cove and offers fantastic views across the bay to Weymouth.

The hotel was designed in post in post art-deco style and because of its special significance has been listed Grade II building of inportance. Our chalet style accommodation is offered in the unique style or years gone by and we provide a traditional seaside holiday with great facilities and lots of fine entertainment.

The Riviera is only a short drive from the town centre and a regular bus servoce operates from outside the hotel during the daytime (high season). There is an abundance of free parking - particularly useful in high season when the popular cove is a Mecca for day-trippers.

Many of our guests like nothing better than to relax and unwind, taking it easy and having a rest. Others though, love to be a little bit more energetic on their holiday that is why we offer a complete range of sports and activities meaning you can be as active as you wish when you stay with us. Our superb indoor leisure centre is at the centre of things all year 'round. Enjoy a dip in our 14 metre heated pool or relax with a sauna and an invigorating soak in the spa.

All our guest rooms are well equipped and include an en-suite bathroom, T.V. with remote control, linen and towles and tea and coffee-making facilities.

We are well known for our wide range of professional entertainment on offer throughout the year. Our resident entertainment team make sure that there's plenty of opportunity to dance the night away in our refurbished and air-conditioned ballroom. Please note that we charge a 1% surcharge for payments by credit card and 2% for payments by American Express.
