The Ally family have been running the Mandalay Burmese Restaurant on Edgware Road since 1994.It is very successful, having achieved many nominations for prestigious awards and picked up the Time Out Best Budget Meal Award in 1996.The restaurant is well known all over the world, receiving favourable reviews from New York to New Delhi, Oslo to Tel Aviv, Paris to Tokyo and many in between. The Allys speak Norwegian fluently and lived in Oslo for twenty years before moving to London in 1994.
