  "Had a good stay at Woodhouse farm even though it was for only one night. Maria was very welcoming and friendly. The surrounding area is lovely. The children especially enjoyed the Geese, Turkeys and Horses that were on the farm. I would recommend it to families that I know."

12th Century Farmhouse, views of the Castle and river. Quiet countryside, half mile from Tutbury Village, rural views, oak beams, tenant of the Duchy of Lancaster. Very safe location for children, friendly and very welcome.

Woodhouse Farm Bed & Breakfast is a 12th century farmhouse, situated in quiet countryside half a mile from the village of Fauld. The farm boasts fantastic views of the Castle and the River Dove, the village also has good facilities and is famous for glass making. The house is part of the Duchy of Lancaster Estate and has strong links with the castle, with oak beams and original fireplaces in the bedrooms situated in private residence.

The hotel is centrally located to visit the Peak District, Sudbury Hall, Chatsworth House, Bass Museum, the Potteries and Alton Towers, which is thirty minutes away. Local walks are also available to Hanbury Crater. The position of the house makes it very safe for children and a warm welcome awaits you.
