The Red Lion offers 18 homely bedrooms (four poster/twin/family available), all unique in shape with ensuite, TV, telephone and even wonky floors! The Red Lion Hotel is an independent, family-run hotel. We pride ourselves in offering our guests a pleasant stay with friendly service, high quality food and beer, served in a relaxed atmosphere in charming surroundings and of course a log fire in the winter. We also have a colourful but relaxed folk music evening every Friday at the Hotel, where all guests are welcome to join in or just sit and listen. We look forward to welcoming you. The large bar area has a separate non-smoking section and offers real ales and delicious home-cooked foods. The hotel also has a function room, which may be used for wedding, meetings or private parties and can seat 100 people. The beautiful traditional dining room is also available for small parties and diners (reservations required).
