Family run Hotel, The Stanley Arms Hotel is a smart, stylish but informal, twelve bedroom hotel. Settle back into comfortable surroundings, read magazines and drink coffee or tea in the large downstairs lounge or enjoy an evening meal or light snack. Furnishings and local scenes set the style, the emphasis is on comfort and enjoyment. Here you can also enjoy a glass of wine or beer at any time of the day. All 12 rooms are en suite providing comfortable surroundings with modern facilities. Here you will find England's deepest lake, highest peak and smallest church along with many fine walks. There are excellent golf courses in the area including a championship course. Enjoy Ravenglass miniature railway running for several miles through the fells. Visit Muncaster Castle and the Florence Mine and many more attractions. So whether your stay is for business or pleasure a warm welcome awaits you.

The restaurant comfortably seats 32 persons. The opening hours are from 6pm to 9pm everyday. We seek to provide the best in cuisine at a reasonable price. Meals are prepared individually using fresh local meat and produce where possible. To accompany your meal we offer a range of carefully selected wines and other drinks are available from our bar.
We also cater for business lunches, parties, meeting and groups. Our menu has a wide selection of dishes.

Enjoy a drink in a friendly bar or have a bar meal in the lounge. There is a door leading in to the garden from here.
Superb beer garden situated right next to the river Calder. The hotel holds the fishing rights to this popular river. You also find there are some excellent river walks and ruined abbey.



When you retire to one of our 12 spacious en-suite bedrooms you will find it comfortably furnished and decorated to a high standard. All bedrooms have en-suite bathroom, colour tv, central heating and tea and coffee making facilities.
