Welcome to Hornsbury Mill, a charming 19th Century watermill set deep in the heart of Somerset, where contemporary capability blends effortlessly with tradition. Five acres of beautiful informally landscaped water gardens form the perfect backdrop to the delightful Mill. Whether you dine in our restaurant, or stay in one of our welcoming rooms, you are sure to be impressed. We also provide the perfect venue for weddings, special celebrations and conferences. Centrally located in Somerset, you will find us 2 miles from Chard, situated close to several National Trust houses, Fleet Air Arm Museum, Forde Abbey and only a few miles from the Dorset and Devon coast.

The Mill Restaurant boasts an excellent reputation. Open both day and night we serve snacks, lunches and evening meals of modern English cuisine. The Head Chef, and his enthusiastic team take considerable care with the preparation and presentation of their food, nearly all the ingredients are sourced from local suppliers and farms, which include organic vegetables, local beef, trout and Somerset cheeses. You can enjoy a delightful lunch or candlelit dinner as the water wheel turns beside you in the restaurant. We serve roast dinner with all the trimmings every Sunday throughout the year.
