Description
The Lampeter Hotel has one of the best locations in Bournemouth. It is ideally situated in a quiet town centre cul-de-sac, away from the hustle and bustle of traffic. Alongside the Pleasure Gardens, with its picturesque flowerbeds and tree-lined walks, the hotel is a short stroll from the sea front and the town centre and the many exclusive shops, which characterise this elegant and stylish resort.
The hotel has a car park for the exclusive use of residents. The 35 bedrooms are arranged on four floors, connected by a passenger lift. All rooms are en-suite, with bath and/or shower, colour television, hospitality tray, direct dial telephone and central heating.
Beau Monde Bistro and Bar, on the lower ground floor, offers a good selection of beers, wines, spirits, soft drinks and offers occasional live entertainment. Enjoy a drink on the terrace overlooking the Pleasure Gardens. A brasserie style menu is available all day. Reduced rates for two or more nights.
All 35 of our bedrooms are comfortably furnished. All are en-suite, with tea making facilities, telephone, television and radio. The hotel is now fully non-smoking.
Dining facilities in the Lampeter are situated on the lower ground floor with views over Bournemouth's Lower Gardens. Breakfast consists of a starter buffet of juices, cereals, fresh fruit and yoghurt, followed by a full English cooked breakfast. There is a residents table d'hote 3 course dinner menu, with a choice for every course. The hotel prides itself on imaginative use of fresh ingredients, with particular emphasis on seafood.
The hotel's bar and bistro, "Beau Monde", is open all day from 10.00 a.m. It offers something for all tastes and pockets at any time of day, from a leisurely morning cappucino while reading the newspapers, a quick lunchtime snack before a trip to the beach or shops, through to an evening A La Carte menu. Al fresco dining on the terrace is popular in summer, or you can just relax with a drink and watch the world go by.
