Hotel Description
  Description

Set in 4 acres of cliff top grounds, it's location on the south coast of the Isle of Wight, allows for breathtaking views over the English Channel. Since Victorian times, Ventnor has been known as the Madeira of England because of its exceptionally mild and sunny climate, mainly due to the benefit of the Gulf Stream and the shelter of St. Boniface Down. This 3-star family owned and run hotel offers a relaxed atmosphere in comfortable surroundings. All our rooms are individually furnished and benefit from tea and coffee making facilities and hairdryers. All rooms have en-suite bathrooms with either a shower or a bath and shower. Our 5-course Table d'Hôte menu offers a selection of dishes for all courses and is designed to cater for all tastes. To compliment this, we also offer an a-la-carte main course menu to give you an even wider choice. Two conference rooms with a capacity of 30 and 100 delegates are available, and up to 30 delegates can be accommodated in single rooms

An elegant Victorian house built in 1872 and has been a hotel since the turn of the century. It is situated in what is often considered the most beautiful location on the island. Standing in its own grounds on the cliff-side on the southern coast, the hotel enjoys unrivalled views of the English Channel. The bar and restaurant, with panoramic views, are the perfect venue for enjoying a varied range of dishes, from single snacks to a five-course dinner from the daily changing menu, or to simply relax with a drink in the comfortable bar.
