The Leopold Hotel opened in June 2007. It is Sheffield's first boutique hotel and is a member of the Small Luxury Hotels of the World. Sheffield's new revitalized Leopold Square sits within the city centre's latest retail quarter and skillfully combines historic buildings with contemporary stores, stylish bars and a choice of many restaurants, creating a highly convivial social space. The squares pièce de résistance is the Leopold Hotel. The Leopold Hotel is built on the former site of a Grade II listed Boys Grammar School. While retaining 19th century elegance and architectural detail, the Leopold seamlessly integrates contemporary design. No expense has been spared in fashioning the 90 luxurious air-conditioned bedrooms and 5 multi-functional conference and banqueting suites. The historic property offers a sophisticated setting, accompanied by fine gastronomy with impeccable service. The Leopold prides itself on exceptionally high standards, as one would expect in a top-class boutique hotel. The Leopold has that little something extra and alternative to offer - it’s smart and sophisticated yet fun and just that little bit quirky. Dining at the Leopold can take many forms, from a simple menu in the relaxed surroundings of our large Terrace or a more formal setting in one of our private dining suites. Our chef’s inventive and casual menus are designed to utilise the best of local, seasonal products wherever possible, ensuring a natural blend of flavours and the season’s best ingredients. This stylish private dining suites will turn any dining occasion into a memorable experience. For weddings and private dining the Leopold boasts the beutiful Oak Suite. Carefully restored to its former grandeur, this multi-functional suite provides a truly magnificent backdrop to those extra-special occasions. The hotel holds a full Civil Licence for ceremonies to take place in a number of Suites.

Car Parking Charges We are able to offer our guests discounted rates at Hartshead Square (S1 2EI) Wellington Street (S1 4HF) and Arundel Gate (S1 2PN) car parks. Arundel Gate offers 24 hour car parking service. £5.60 inc Vat per visit up to 24 hour £3.50 inc Vat per visit or per overnight stay

Love and marriage
The Leopold hotel can cater for up to 60 guests in the Oak Suite and additionally in the Library with a further 2 suites offering private dining for up to 20 guests. Holding a civil licence the Oak Suite is a beautiful Oak Panelled Suite offing an excuisite setting in a breathtaking historic building. The original Library Suite offers a more modern setting allowing you to tailor-make your dream day
