Having undergone extensive renovation all our rooms are en-suite, and we have an excellent 40-seater restaurant as well as a function room available for business, private functions and weddings. The Kings Head Hotel is a traditional 17th Century Coaching inn situated in the market town of Dereham just 15 miles from Norwich in Norfolk and is the ideal base from which to visit the surrounding area. The Norfolk and Suffolk coastlines are great for day trips, Norwich offers great shopping, entertainment and nightlife and the historic towns of Bury St Edmunds and Cambridge are both within an hours drive. Having completed a redevelopment of the reception area, lounge bar and restaurant, The Kings Head Hotel is currently undergoing a systematic refurbishment of its bedrooms to a four star standard. As well as being close to the Town Centre, The Kings Head benefits from plenty of free off road parking and has a grass tennis court, large walled garden with outdoor seating and a marquee during the summer months. The 40 seat restaurant offers a dinner, bar and childrens menus using the best local ingredients and the wine list has been hand selected from around the world.

We have 12 beautiful en suite double, twin and single rooms all with tea and coffee making facilities and television. Perfect for an overnight stay. Enjoy bed and full english breakfast or take advantage of our competitively priced full board options for longer breaks. We have a large suite with jet bath and shower for that special night away. The suite also benefits from a sofa bed which can easily accommodate families of up to 5 which are most welcome.

We have a function room and a marquee available for private functions. Our function room seats up to 40 guests and has its own private bar and toilet facilities and has access through patio doors straight into our large garden, ideal if you want a garden drinks reception in the summer. Our Marquee can seat a further 50 and set in our beautiful garden make it the ideal wedding venue. We offer a range of catering options, from a simple finger buffet to private BBQ's or a 3 course banqueting menu and can even supply any extras you may need - from flowers to swing bands!
