Each of our 12 bedrooms has its own en suite facilities with newly installed power showers. Our A la Carte Restaurant is open to non-residents Monday - Saturday evenings (residents only on Sundays). The restaurant at Chapel House, awarded a coveted AA rosette, has acquired an enviable reputation for high quality food and a comprehensive wine cellar, a particular hobby of chef patron, Richard Napper.
Richard Napper , Chef Patron, is a genial host, who is quite likely to visit your table in the Restaurant once the last main courses have been served. The other half of this successful family partnership, Siobhan Napper , will greet you on your arrival and, if you are staying for dinner, invite you to enjoy your pre-dinner drinks in the lounge whilst you peruse the menu and wine list .
The A la Carte menu changes on a daily basis, however it usually follows the same format including a vegetarian option, two fish dishes and a fillet steak.
All the dishes are cooked freshly to order and can easily be modified to cater for special dietary requirements, food intolerances and allergies.
All our rooms have ensuite shower rooms with newly-installed power showers, remote-controlled colour television, hairdryer, tea- and coffee- making facilities, and direct dial telephone incorporating two easy-to-reach modem ports. For the wifi-enabled, Wireless High Speed Internet Access is available free throughout the hotel.
Bedlinen is a luxurious 100% cotton and the bath towels are huge. Each bed has both feather and non-feather pillows and we have spare non-feather pillows for those with allergies.
Traveling
From M42 J10 'Tamworth/Nuneaton' follow A5 towards Nuneaton; at 3rd roundabout "Holly Lane" turn LEFT onto B4116 to Sheepy Magna and Twycross; then RIGHT onto Rowlands Way; turn RIGHT at T-Junction onto Sheepy Road; Friars Gate is the cul-de-sac on LEFT immediately after Church (don't go through archway!).
From M1 J20 'Lutterworth' follow A4303 and A5 towards Hinckley/Nuneaton/Atherstone; bear left to Atherstone Town Centre and follow road through town centre; turn RIGHT at Church Street (one way); RIGHT onto Sheepy Road and immediately LEFT into Friars Gate (cul-de-sac).
