  "I chose the Ellwyn because it was in close range of all the people I had to visit. On arrival, which was at 7am, I was greeted by the very friendly housekeeper and got checked in right away which was a bonus because I thought I may have had to come back later. She was very bubbly and even carried my rather heavy suitcase up 3 floors! I had booked a single room but was given an ensuite double room which was small but was well equipped with plenty of storage i.e. wardrobe chest of drawers etc. There was a good supply of tea & coffee, which was replenished every day, and an LCD TV was also in the room. The bathroom was spotless and more than adequate and the view from my room window was quite stunning with views right out over the Forth. I don't eat breakfast so I can't comment on the food and I didn't drink at the bar either but they have a friendly staff and no one bothers you. All in all I was very pleased with my stay at the Ellwyn in fact I tried to book again as I am coming back to the UK. "
