Ye Olde Plough House is a comfortable hotel retaining the old world style. Set amongst beautifully landscaped gardens, it is ideal for business, pleasure and functions. All bedrooms have en suite bathroom with bath or shower, colour TV, tea & coffee making facilities & ample free car parking outside the rooms. Full payment is required on booking for Friday, Saturday & Sunday nights. There is a Fine Dining Restaurant (Friday & Saturday evening).

Set amongst 12 acres of beautifully landscaped gardens, we are conveniently situated just 5 miles from the M25, 5 miles from Basildon and 6 miles from Lakeside, Thurrock. We currently have 73 bedrooms all tastefully decorated with en suite bathroom with either bath or shower, colour TV, tea & coffee making facilities and ample free car parking outside each room. Other facilities include Lounge Bar, dining room, fine dining restaurant (Friday & Saturday), two function suites of varing size, one a 16th Century Norfolk Barn, the other a mock Tudor Hall.
