Hotel Description
  Description

Conveniently situated in the ancient town of Farnham, The Bishop's Table Hotel offers award-winning hospitality. The Georgian building, built in the early eighteenth century, was originally owned by the Marquis of Lothian and at one time was used as a training school for clergy, when it was known as the Bishop's Hostel - from which the hotel derives its name. It is now run under the personal direction of the owners. Through the hotel, charm and character is much in evidence. Each bedroom is individually decorated, and each has an en-suite bathroom or shower and all the expected facilities. The bridal suite features a splendid Victorian half-tester bed. A particular feature of this fine country town hotel is its secluded walled garden. Beautifully landscaped it won second prize in the 1994 Secret Gardens of Farnham Competition.

An intimate, privately owned and managed 18th century hotel in the heart of this beautiful town offering comfortable en suite bedrooms, fine dining, cafe / bar, and excellent personal service from a team of dedicated staff. We also have a beautiful walled south facing garden in which to enjoy your drink or take a stroll after a long day! The restaurant has an enviable reputation for its fine cuisine, and has been awarded 2 AA rosettes. The M3 and M25 motorways are easily reached within approximately 25 minutes. Rail links to London (52 minutes) and the south east, together with the hotel's proximity to Heathrow (35 minutes), Gatwick (55 minutes), Farnborough (15 minutes) airports makes the bishop's table hotel the ideal base for either business trip within the thriving M3 / M4 technology triangle or quiet restful weekend in the beautiful Surrey countryside literally on our doorstep! Old world tranquillity is combined with modern services such as direct dial telephones, wifi internet access and fax facilities.

All bedrooms are en-suite with full amenities. Each room is individually decorated in tasteful styles reflecting the individual features and views of the room. While maintaining an air of old world tranquillity we still cater for the demands of today`s business client with wi fi internet access available on request.
