Description

The Railway Inn is owned and run by Abdul Mannan and family. We offer a friendly informal service for business and private/tourist clientele providing real ales, good indian/ English food and accommodation. The Inn is spacious and superbly decorated throughout. There is a beautiful rear garden where children are most welcome. The Inn affords ample parking space to front and rear. The Free house is ideally placed close to Abingdon, Didcot, Wallingford and Oxford with the advantage of the adjacent railway station on the Oxford - Paddington line. The Inn has three bar areas, a games room, 60-seater restaurant and ten very comfortable rooms. It also has a Marquee ideal for weddings and private functions it can seat up to 150 guests.

The restaurant is comfortable and well proportioned and will seat 70+ guests. Our menu is traditional indian with a choice of steaks, fish dishes etc, a lunchtime menu is available every day. We offer a hearty breakfast for guests who stay with usThe Inn has ten en-suite bedrooms all the rooms are comfortable. There is a choice of family, double, twin and single bedrooms all have en suite facilities, TV, central heating, shaver points and tea and coffee hospitality tray also. We also have a cottage annex with 4 further bedrooms with en suites. Tourists can use the inn as a base to tour the Cotswolds and sights & scenes of the historic university town of Oxford.
