Description

The Star and Garter Hotel is a large imposing Georgian style building, steeped in history, dating back to the mid eighteenth century and is located at the east end of historic Linlithgow's High Street. The hotel is a family owned and run hotel with 15 well appointed recently refurbished en-suite bedrooms. This historic hotel has a very comfortable 60-seater restaurant which boasts an exciting menu to suit all tastes combining the best of traditional and contemporary Scottish fayre. There is also a traditional Scottish bar of unique character offering a wide selection of malt whiskies, and an excellent choice of brand leading beers and spirits. We also have a large beer garden at the rear of the hotel where we enjoy Sunday BBQ's during the summer months. The historic town of Linlithgow, where Mary Queen of Scots was born in 1542, a visit to the palace is not to be missed..........enjoy. Disabled access to restaurant and cloakrooms.

The historic Star & Garter Hotel is located at the east end of Linlithgow town’s High Street adjacent to the railway station, ideally positioned for visitors arriving by train. We also have private parking for those arriving by car.
